In the time before remembering,
the keeper’s love for the creator brought our world into being.
People were made in their image, perfect and immortal.
But the Keeper soon grew jealous of the Creator’s love for her children.
And made them mortal so he could kill their first born.
He betrayed her.
Brought death and suffering into the world they had created.
She wept.
So profound was her grief that it took shape, and made the Stone of Tears.
She used it on the one she’d loved.
Trapping him below for eternity.
